GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 634765
Drag motion when widget is insensitive is broken.
Last modified: 2018-02-10 03:35:37 UTC
Drag motion is not emitted anymore to parent widgets when a widget is insensitive. This used to work. This seems to be caused by the following commit: http://git.gnome.org/browse/gtk+/commit/?h=gtk-2-22&id=cb8c0763215bd18219c2d32b56e4bfe8a576f6b3 The breaks plugin dnd in xfce4-panel where we make the plugins insensitive and wait for motion events in the toplevel gtkwindow. If there is another way we should handle this I'd like to know; but it seems perfectly valid to me.
Anyone on this?
No idea if Mitch at Gimp was already notified, but I mailed him privately and asked for him to comment on this.
