Description naeemalimuhammad 2010-07-04 00:25:20 UTC
I have downloaded several mp3 files.

These appear in Downloads Folder.

I add them to an existing Playlist in RythymBox.

If I then move one such file to another Folder then that File is lost to Playlist.

When I re-add that same file to Playlist from NEW LOCATION and attempt to SAVE PLAYLIST by SAVE TO FILE the action does not replace the moved File into the Playlist although no pop up window warned of this failure.

If the recently moved file is then moved again to a second folder and then added to Playlist from that location and that action also saved to file then the moved file is then successfully replaced into the Playlist.

However the once removed file is taken from its original dowloaded position it can NEVER be returned to its original position and also then be returned to the Playlist.

Is there a work around for this or is it to remain as a quirk of the Rythymbox Application?

sincerely
