I'm getting an error message for metacity that happens sometimes after the upgrade to 2.30 that renders the desktop unusable (keyboard does nothing, mouse clicks do nothing). Currently the only way I have found to escape this is to switch to a tty and killall -9 metacity.

metacity:ERROR:core/prefs.c:2701:meta_prefs_get_window_binding: code should not be reached
