Description Omer Akram 2010-02-12 14:44:48 UTC
The icon set to reflect the status is paired:
- Green circle - Available
- Yellow circle - Occupied
- Red triangle - Away
- Grey square - Disconnected/Invisible

How they should be paired:
- Green circle - Available
- Yellow circle - Away <---
- Red triangle - Occupied <---
- Grey square - Disconnected/Invisible

I think the red triangle reflects better the unavailability than the yellow circle, as the yellow circle (I would prefer orange like in gtalk) reflects better the awaivity than the red triangle.

This has already been discussed in bug 547261, and the resolution was to depend on icon naming spec, something which is tracked in bug 602420.
