I find it pretty inconvinient that epiphany often opens links in new windows. After some time you have serveral windows open instead of one with multiple tabs.

Please either make it the default behaviour to open links in a new tab or add an option in the preference menu (like firefox does).

This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. 

You can set the gconf key /apps/epiphany/general/open_new_window_in_tab

Oh i just found that option. Anyhow i think there should be a way in the preferences to set that. A normal user won't be able to crawl through gconf-editor

True, but tabs are only used by advanced users anyhow.

You are saying gedit is for advanced users only? And Firefox and IE have tabs for years (at least Firefox).
