GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 607613
Add a crop feature in Totem Movie Player
Last modified: 2010-01-23 00:17:01 UTC
Hello, This is a feature request actually. If this is the wrong place for such a thing please direct me to the right one. I would like to see a crop feature (or plugin?) in Totem. I think it would be a very useful feature in full screen mode. It is implemented in VLC and it's a favorite among many users. Regards
There's already a zoom feature you can use with either the menu items, or the R and T keyboard keys. It solves my cropping problems in 99% of the cases, when the video has top/bottom black borders.

Yes, you are absolutely right about the zoom feature. For usability reasons might I suggest an "auto zoom" or "fit to window" in full screen mode perhaps?
