Description Mikey K 2009-10-05 08:24:17 UTC
Reported from downstream ubuntu (https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/442896):

"It would be intuitive if Nautilus supported putting shortcuts to files as well as folders in the Places pane (and by reflection, the Bookmarks menu). Currently, only folders can be put there. Also, the management of those folders is pretty primitive. Only 1 level or bookmarks is my biggest complaint."
