Description William Jon McCann 2009-10-04 23:19:23 UTC
As mentioned in my review on IRC I don't like the white separator at all. Probably 0x80808066 or similar is better.

[AppSwitcher] Change separator color

Especially with the new large icons this ends up as a barely visible gray hairline. Doesn't work for me.

(I can't screenshot it since you can't screenshot the alt-tab dialog ... maybe we should hack that in.)
Comment 4 Steve Frécinaux 2009-10-06 15:18:47 UTC
Well actually you *can* make a screenshot of the alt+tab dialog, just hit print-screen while holding alt. It behaves a little weird but it works.

New separator

Here is a screenshot of the app separator with the new switcher.

The red arrow shows a visible "hole" in the separator (due to having a black zone behind), which looks like a bug.

The underlined labels are fuzzy texts that are not relevant to this bug, sorry.

Now that bug 598651 is fixed, experimenting and fixing this one should be pretty easy.
Comment 7 Dan Winship 2011-02-09 18:00:32 UTC
Presumably we're not changing this at this point.
