It would be nice if we could download PDFs, at least of user and developer guides based on DocBook. This is fairly easy these days, maybe using docbook2pdf. Actually maybe it would be just as easy to generate PDF for gtk-doc documentation, because it has an intermediate DocBook stage.

Or fop works on recent distro versions and gives even better results:
