Description J.H.M. Dassen (Ray) 2009-04-16 17:38:24 UTC
The following was originally reported as http://bugs.debian.org/523082 and
is reproducible for me with a recent svn trunk build.

Package: gnumeric
Version: 1.9.4-1
Severity: normal

To reproduce:

- open a new sheet
- select row 1
- apply the "wrap text" format to it
- in A1 write "aaa"
- select A1 and copy
- in B1 write "aaaaaaaaaaa bbbbbbbbb": the rwo height adapts to
  accommodate two lines of text
- select C1 and paste

After the last step, the row height is reduced to one line of text.
This is wrong, as cell B1 contains two lines of text.

Well, the reporter of bug 121722 ont he other hand would seem to demand the current behaviour.
Comment 2 Morten Welinder 2018-04-21 21:44:28 UTC
This seems to have gotten fixed in the meantime.

This problem has been fixed in our software repository. The fix will go into the next software release. Once that release is available, you may want to check for a software upgrade provided by your Linux distribution.
