Description Mikel Ward 2009-01-15 01:04:24 UTC
If you click on a message and leave the mouse over it (or maybe even if you don't click?), a little bubble should pop up showing more details about the message.

I would like it to show the full subject, since I am using vertical view (View->Preview->Vertical View), and messages with a long subject are not fully visible.

Maybe some other user would also like the sender and/or the date to pop up, but I think the subject is the most important.

This has definitely been filed before and is a dup
Comment 2 Mikel Ward 2009-01-15 22:04:41 UTC
Searching isn't working (today or yesterday), so I can't try to find dups at the moment. Sorry. Blame your Bugzilla admin. ;-)

Essentially a dup of bug 267902, I would say... I'll leave it to the Evolution folks to decide, though :)
Comment 4 Mikel Ward 2009-01-17 23:19:36 UTC
That approach would probably satisfy my needs, but it could be done other ways as well.
Comment 5 Matthew Barnes 2009-01-21 14:51:13 UTC
I agree this is a dupe. We have tooltips for memos and tasks now, so perhaps whatever ETable issues Not Zed mentioned have been resolved.
