GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 567099
Switching from mail to calendar and back to mail widens the width of the sidebar
Last modified: 2012-02-15 13:47:53 UTC
The minimum width of the left window (Calendar view) is too wide, causing left window (Mail view) to reset to a wider than necessary width. This was not a problem in previous releases. Also, is there any chance you could add a right click to or menu selection to remove/delete junk mail? Another nice enhancement would be to enable saving email messages in text and html like Outlook does. Distribution: Fedora release 10 (Cambridge) Gnome Release: 2.24.2 2008-11-25 (Red Hat, Inc) BugBuddy Version: 2.24.2
Can you please provide a screen shot ? Would be good it you can provide comparison of both the versions. And please file enhancement requests separately, thanks.

I am not clear with screen shots :/
Wow, two months to get around to looking at the screen shots? I guess this problem will take about a year to get fixed. Here is the summary of the screen shots. Screenshot1.png shows the normal mail windows with the lower left pane showing a single stack category selection menu; mail, contacts, calendars, tasks, and memos icons. When you select calendars, you get screenshot2.png, which shows the lower left pane having a dual stack category selection menu. Note that you cannot change it to a single stack. Then, as shown in screenshot3.png when you switch back to the mail window, the category selection menu options are still stacked and you can no longer change it to a single stack. Hope this helps. Charlie
Thanks for explanation.
