Please describe the problem: when i export to folder, and check the resize feature f-spot pop a error message: Error uploading picture "xxx.nef" to Gallery: Writing to this file formats is not supported Steps to reproduce: 1. take a nef file 2. import to f-spot 3. export to folder and check resize feature. Actual results: popup a error dialog, say: Error uploading picture "xxx.nef" to Gallery: Writing to this file formats is not supported Expected results: convert to jpeg file, and resize my picture Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
where are you exporting to? bug 428247 and bug 338576 may be related
I export to ~/Pictures/output/, use "export to folder" in file -> exporting to...
If you want to export RAW files, do not try to alter the file (i.e. resizing). There's no way to resize RAWs.
Bug 590150 will fix this.
f-spot is not under active development anymore, has not seen code changes for five years, and saw its last tarball release in the year 2010. Its codebase has been archived: https://gitlab.gnome.org/Archive/f-spot/commits/master Closing this report as WONTFIX as part of Bugzilla Housekeeping to reflect reality. Please feel free to reopen this ticket (or rather transfer the project to GNOME Gitlab, as GNOME Bugzilla is deprecated) if anyone takes the responsibility for active development again.
