Description gabriel 2008-11-28 18:04:40 UTC
I cant insert any spcial characters like accented vocals(spanish) with keyboard shortcuts. Neither the usual mac, windows or linux shortcuts work.

Can you insert special characters in gedit? What is the easiest way for me to test this? (I have typical en_US settings)

Disregard my comment; I didn't realize this was a Mac bug. This is probably a bug in gtk+ on OS X, but I'm not sure.

I have exactly the same issue in Tomboy 0.13.5 (the last one I found for macosx distributed as a dmg). Letters as ñ (just one keystroke) do work, but if you need to press two keys, it doesn't work (for example, á).

Where are you looking that you're finding 0.13.5? Our download page has 0.14.1 (the latest stable version) and 0.15.0 (the latest development version).

Thanks for confirming, will look into this.

You were right, I was using a really old version of Tomboy. I've updated it and I still got the same problem in 0.14.1 and 0.15.0.

Thanks
