Please describe the problem:

3. select one of the words.
4. goto format menu / character
5. tab across to size (no feedback from orca)
6. change size using arrow keys (again no feedback from orca)

We're not getting the events we expect/need. :-( I've opened an OOo bug here:
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=95042. Blocking this bug against it and setting the target to FUTURE because we have very little control over external bugs.
Comment 4 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2008-10-21 04:25:43 UTC
Note to self: Take a look at the OOo Calc Find/Replace dialog. The symptoms sound and seem similar. If it turns out to not be the same issue, I'll open a new bug.
Comment 5 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-07-27 22:57:27 UTC
Changing status to "to verify" as the blocking bug has been marked as fixed.
Comment 6 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-01 03:02:14 UTC
Tested with OOo-dev 3.1.1 (OOO310m17 Build:9415) in OpenSolaris build 118
(GNOME 2.26.2) which is the latest dev build available to the outside world as
far as I am aware.

My understanding is that the fix is to expose the object in question as a combo box. That's not currently happening. Maybe the fix is in 3.2 (which I don't see a build for).

Re-blocking.
Comment 7 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-02 19:32:29 UTC
Sorry for the spam.

The bug is still present in the latest 3.2.0 build available to the public (OOo-dev 3.2.0/DEV300m53 Build:9412)

Just a quick note that Joanie has also verified
http://qa.openoffice.org/issues/show_bug.cgi?id=95042 has been fixed in the
swa11y32_2nd_en-US_SolarisIntel.tar file Thomas Lange made for me
(300m51(Build:9408)[CWS:swa11y32_2nd]).
Comment 9 Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2009-08-13 15:35:22 UTC
Yup, and because of their fix, we present the correct info. (i.e. We don't have anything else to do on this bug.) Closing as NOTGNOME.
