Description David Wagner 2008-09-10 17:51:53 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
No clue. gpk-update-icon crashed while I wasn't present. I suspect that an update appeared in the repository and gp-update-icon crashed.

See attached for the output from bugbuddy.

Note that this bug should be for /usr/bin/gpk-update-icon, which is part of the gnome-packagekit-0.2.5-2.fc9.i386 package on a Fedora 9 installation (Gnome 2.22.3). I couldn't find any listing in the Gnome bugzilla list of applications for this, and there was no "other"/"miscellaneous" category, so I listed it here.

Note that I did not have debug symbols for gnome-packagekit installed at the time of the crash.

A search for gpk-update-icon turned up bug 535856; I have no idea whether that is related.

We list our bugs on freedesktop.org, So I'll close this one and we can discuss on the RH bug. Thanks.
