(it is really hard to believe, there is an action in gnome-tr! after waiting 3 months on here, i'm posting translations directly to project author. i hope my brasero translation is added by project author too..)
I just noticed this bug. Problem was GUADEC 2008, i've been extremely busy once this bug posted, and nobody ever pinged about it later on until now. Currently dealing with GNOME 2.24 translations, if they finish earlier I'll control and commit this translation. Thanks for contribution.

The action has arrived. :) There was no Turkish translation uploaded to Damned-Lies yet and there is no tr.po for istanbul in git. I have corrected a few things in your file (header part and a missing accelerator) and uploaded to D-L. It will be proofread and then pushed to git soon. Thanks for your contribution.
