GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 534791
Add multiplayer support
Last modified: 2018-05-22 12:27:48 UTC
Would be rocking cool to be able to play with friends as in gtetrinet. For bonus point, we could reuse tetrinet's protocol if possible.
Ideally this would use telepathy so you could easily find local people to play with...
Is anyone working on this? I wish to complete it since I am already providing telepathy-networking and contact-support to other games - glchess and iagno. The common framework has been prepared and glchess is almost done applying it (with a little cleanup and formatting remaining).
How does multiplayer Tetris work?
I can't guarantee I will be able to finish tp-tubes in this or Iagno. Let it be the focus for a GSoC project.
That's understandable. But how was it supposed to work? Two players playing separate games at the same time, just to be able to compare scores? Or something a bit more elaborate?
