When I select Leave Full Screen from the View menu it flickers but remains at full screen.

I have also verified this with the latest source code that identifies itself as 2.23.0.

An additional observation about the problem is that it appears to happen if same-gnome starts in full screen mode.

And if I remove my user configuration file for same-gnome the problem goes away.

If I then quit again while in full screen it reloads in full screen.  The first time I select leave fullscreen from the menu it flickers again, but the second it leaves fullscreen.

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
This particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but we are happy to tell you that the problem has already been fixed. It should be solved in the next software version. You may want to check for a software upgrade.
