closing a project doesn't empty the locale symbols list
Last modified: 2008-09-08 15:32:03 UTC
Please describe the problem: closing a project doesn't empty the locale symbols list Steps to reproduce: 1. open an anjuta project 2. close the project 3. look at the symbol browser Actual results: the locale symbols list doesn't empty Expected results: it must be empty Does this happen every time? yes Other information:
@Massimo: This still happens for symbol-db, shouldn't be difficult to fix!
indeed. Can you please assign this to me? It probably has a dependence to #548749
btw: I can reproduce this with symbol-browser, but not with symbol-db.
Hmm, I could also reproduce this with symbol-db but I will post detailed instructions here...
Reprouce: - Open Project - Close all files (Local tab is cleared) - Open ChangeLog and src/about.c - Close ChangeLog - Close about.c => Symbols are still shown
oh well, yes you're right. I was closing the project instead, as written in the first comment.
Symbol-db v 1.0 rc5 on bug #358479 should fix this problem. Please let me know if it works for you.
Works now for symbol-db. Leaving the bug open for now as it still happens with symbol-browser though I doubt we will ever fix it before migrating to symbol-db.

Steps I do with symbol-browser: 1. open a simple project (no previous files loaded) 2. open some files of that project 3. close project [or close all]. then symbols on local tab vanish as it should.
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
