Description Joanmarie Diggs (IRC: joanie) 2007-10-20 22:57:46 UTC
I am trying the new Glade version of gcalctool. In the gcalctool main window, there used to be shortcuts for all of the items in the Edit and View menus (e.g. Control I for Insert ASCII Value and Control M for Memory Registers). These are now missing.
Comment 1 Rich Burridge 2007-10-21 16:25:28 UTC
Yup. These need to be added in. Thanks.
Comment 2 Robert Ancell 2007-10-22 13:04:33 UTC
Fixed in the latest patch for bug 488778. For some reason Glade wasn't saving these when I changed them. It started working once I manually added a few though. Odd.
Comment 3 Rich Burridge 2007-10-22 13:57:21 UTC
Is this with glade-3? Joanie and I have found some strange behavior
with that, and I've been using glade-2 still.

I'll get the patch in today.

Thanks.

I've committed the latest patch from bug #488778. It does indeed
nicely fix this. Thanks! Closing as FIXED.
Comment 5 Robert Ancell 2007-10-23 00:33:07 UTC
No this was Glade 2! I initially was working on the gcalctool in Glade-3 to use it as a testing ground to convert my other projects but Glade 3 definitely has odd problems. I really want to move to Glade 3 because Glade 2 also has some weird bugs (like occasionally setting all the radio buttons to active).
