GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 464348
Rename tool breaks if template = "%f1%e"
Last modified: 2007-08-11 09:40:28 UTC
Initially reported at http://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gthumb/+bug/130643 Select a series of images to rename, press F2, and enter %f1%e as the template. The first renaming works properly. Select some more images and hit F2 again. This time, the template and the computed filenames are corrupted (with lots of "?"). The template can not be changed. These warnings appear on the console: Pango-WARNING **: Invalid UTF-8 string passed to pango_layout_set_text() - Mike
Confirmed in trunk.
