Description Jaap A. Haitsma 2007-06-16 15:09:27 UTC
More and more GNOME apps support plugins/extensions. It would be nice if there was some standard plugin icon in gnome-icon-theme.
Eye of GNOME has as far as I can judge already tango compliant plugin icons. These could be dropped into gnome icon theme

EOG, GEdit, X-Chat-Gnome, Pidgin, Firefox (...) all ship such an icon. What about adding it to the spec and just adding it to GIT?

We're proposing to include this in the naming spec. See http://live.gnome.org/GnomeArt/Icons/NamingSpec

Resetting assignee to default to avoid cookie-licking (see bug 744024).

Jimmac: If you actively and realistically plan to work on this, please set yourself as assignee again so this ticket will be shown on top of your user page at https://bugzilla.gnome.org/page.cgi?id=describeuser.html

Thanks!

application-x-addon mimetype icon has been added in the meantime which fits this use case.
