What were you doing when the application crashed?
I had just changed the preference for automatic contacts (to create them in the Personal folder): after exit of the prefs dialog the application crashed.

This version (Fedora 7 x86_64) is really unstable....

The servers were killed (evolution --force-shutdown) and then the application stared as 'evolution --debug=/tmp/evolution.debug' . This is the evolution.debug file.
