GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 438836
Nautilus File Broswer can not highlight the selected files....
Last modified: 2008-09-10 16:26:49 UTC
I have 2 suggestions for you to make life easy for Linux people: 1) About Nautilus file browser when "file management preferences" is single click to activate items and always open in browser windows: When I keep the cursor on a file or folder at the right side pane, the file or folder is not selected and highlighted!!! What a fraightful bug!! You developed such a big OS but look at simple necessary facilities like this!!! how you did not pay attention to this dreadful problem!!! 2) When I open the menues of the panel at the top of the screen and I keep the cursor on panel items a very bad annoying popup window with big yellow background pops out that makes reading the items very difficult. What genus man invented this feature? It should become absolutely turned off by default or optional at most. Many nice sophisticated features but not thinking about these simple errors puts Linux behind commertial OS and wastes the time of technical people. THank you for your attention, Am Kara. Other information: PLease correct these problems. THe general functionality is OK but my suggestions makes Linux powerful and more user friendly. I wanted to report these 1 year ago but using BugZilla was difficult enough to stop me 12 months!!
