Description Sven Arvidsson 2006-12-05 22:19:58 UTC
Some Debian users have requested the ability to easily erase rewriteable media with n-c-b. Possibly by having an option in the context menu for such discs.

http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=379073

The use case given for this:
	- you have a CDR-W and your colleague has asked if they can make
	  use of it
	- you don't want them to be able to (easily) see what was on the
	  CD before
	- you'd like to hand them a blank CD they can overwrite

Hello Sven.

This bug is a duplicate of bug 160266. We need to modify nautilus as well for the "blank" menu item.
