Description jeremybuchmann 2006-11-16 17:34:51 UTC
On a fresh install of Fedora Core 6, I set up two printers, but didn't select either as a default printer. When I tried to print a dia file, the application exited. The only output on the console was:

Print dialog?
lpr: Error - no default destination available.

Once I set a default printer, it worked fine.

Can't reconstruct this on a SuSE, it doesn't allow me to have no default printer except for by having no printers (which doesn't have any effect on Dia).

I'd accept a patch, but can't debug it on my current setup. Might be a problem of trying to write to a broken pipe.

Dia 0.97 will use the gtk-print infrastructure by default - the print code in question is now moved to a plug-in. It may be removed with the following version.
