Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately, that stack trace is missing some elements that will help a lot to solve the problem, so it will be hard for the developers to fix that crash. Can you get us a stack trace with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. Thanks in advance! please install glib, gtk+ and nautilus packages

Could anybody please install some debugging packages [1], start nautilus as normal, and reproduce the crash, if possible? Once bug-buddy pops up, you can find the stacktrace in the "details", now containing way more information. Please copy that stacktrace and paste it as a comment here. Thanks in advance! [1] debugging packages for nautilus, glib, gtk, gnome-vfs and libgnome(ui). More details can be found here: http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces/DistroSpecificInstructions

I don't have a create_unmount_progress_window in my fm-directory-view.c. Maybe this is a distro patch?

This crash is not a GNOME issue. The reason for this crash is an Ubuntu 6.10 Edgy specific patch that has been dropped for Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty. This crash will definitely be fixed for Ubuntu 7.04 Feisty (because Feisty will use gnome-mount instead of the affected patch).
