Description matt 2006-10-05 06:49:40 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
Clicking from IMAP folder to trash, then back to another folder quickly causes evolution to crash. I am able to reproduce this.

Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy)

Comment 1 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-10-05 12:38:30 UTC
Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
Comment 2 matt 2006-10-06 01:21:45 UTC
Here is another stack trace:

Thanks for the feedback, Matt. :)

This one is better. However, that stacktrace still does not have any debugging symbols. Could you please install the relevant debug packages [1], and get us a stacktrace with debugging symbols?

[1] debugging packages for evolution and evolution-data-server, plus debugging
packages for some basic GNOME libs. More details can be found here:

Ok I installed the debug symbols, however I could no longer get it to crash when running under gdb. I was able to crash it running normally and capture the stacktrace from bug buddy. Hopefully this one helps, I will keep trying to crash while running under gdb. Thank you.
