GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 349404
bad default for "Copy file to Photos folder" when importing
Last modified: 2006-07-31 11:39:42 UTC
I used f-spot for a while and soon discovered that my home folder had almost doubled in size. The reason was that all of my photos had been copied into the ~/Photos folder, even though they were already elsewhere in my home directory. I can understand that when importing photos from a digital camera into f-spot, the default should be to enable "Copy file to Photos folder" (because, that is after all what importing means to most users). However when importing photos from the local hard drive, including from the users home directory, the "Copy file to Photos folder" checkbox should be off by default. Thanks, Matt
