I don't understand how this is related to deskbar
Comment 2 jeb shultz 2006-07-11 05:07:32 UTC
I dont know that this is related to the desk bar but when i try to run a balance sheet or acount summary or scheduled transaction i loose the gnash window then when i reopen it i get a message saying there is already a window open the last time i was able to run these reports and see them i saved them the next time i tryed to run them they come up as custom reports and when i click on them i loose the window i can no longer run these reports the account windows are fine and i can log transactions daily but i cannot see these reports when i run them

Raphael's point is that this bug has been marked as "Product: deskbar-applet" in the top right hand corner of this page. However, your bug report doesn't sound like it is related to the deskbar-applet, but a different application instead.

However, I can't tell which application, from your bug report. Gnash is... a Flash player???

I would recommend finding the bug-reporting page of the particular application that you're using and file a bug there.
Comment 4 jeb shultz 2006-07-12 02:43:04 UTC
I dont think it is a flash player problem because i can run the reports such as profit loss and many of the graghs like pie and bar charts for assetts and liabilities and profit loss I think when i saved the balancr sheet the transaction report and the sample reports they moved from assets and liabilities and became custom reports which now every time i click to run them the window just closes for some reason but the profit loss reports and all the graghs work fine
Comment 5 Nigel Tao 2006-07-12 07:07:58 UTC
OK, it might not be a flash player problem, but it is definitely not a deskbar-applet problem, so this is not the right place for your bug report.

Unfortunately, I have no idea what program you are using, so I don't know how to help you find the right place for your bug report.
Comment 6 jeb shultz 2006-07-14 05:00:46 UTC
i am using linix is this what you mean by program
Comment 7 Nigel Tao 2006-07-14 05:30:42 UTC
No, that is not what I mean by program, sorry.

Can you describe exactly what you do (such as I type "such and such" in, and then click on the button called "wow") to go from "log in to my computer" or "turn on my computer" to get to "run a balance sheet"?
Comment 8 jeb shultz 2006-07-14 22:54:02 UTC
i click on k menu then go to gnucash accounts appear ithen click on reports i then scroll down to custom then click on balance sheet then all the reports choices in the window dissapears and then the entire gnash window dissapears
Comment 9 Nigel Tao 2006-07-15 08:02:49 UTC
OK, I think the program is GnuCash. I'm re-opening the bug.
Comment 10 jeb shultz 2006-07-20 03:49:38 UTC

Comment 11 David Hampton 2006-07-24 11:32:06 UTC

Comment 12 jeb shultz 2006-07-25 04:24:15 UTC

Comment 13 Nigel Tao 2006-07-26 04:10:47 UTC
Jeb - since this bug report is a duplicate, http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=168250 will probably have more info than this page.

In particular, the bug is already marked fixed (in more recent versions) - try upgrading.
