GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 345669
support for Nero files
Last modified: 2009-07-30 11:19:07 UTC
[ forwarded from http://bugs.debian.org/374992 ] It'd be a nice user experience improvement if you could burn .nrg files directly rather than having to convert them to .iso files (via nrg2iso) -- perhaps that code can be incorporated into nautilus-cd-burner?.

Given that the only thing nrg2iso does is skip the first 307200 bytes of a file, it would be dead-easy to add support for it to the actual writers (growisofs, and cdrecord). It would be easy to incorporate it to shared-mime-info and nautilus-cd-burner afterwards. IMO, you should handle this upstream with both those projects.
Would be nice for brasero to do that.
Thanks. This is part of a larger request for different image types support. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 503916 ***
