Description tim 2006-03-01 14:19:57 UTC
hi all,

currently evolution is missing the feature to remove duplicate mails from a
mailbox ...
sylpheed-claws has a feature called "Delete Duplicated Messages" and The Bat a
similar feature "Kill Dups".
sylpheed-claws has features for both operating on a single folder and on
operating on all folders ...

would be nice if this feature would be added to evolution (maybe as plugin)
currently, there is only a shell script to do that
(http://lists.ximian.com/archives/public/evolution/2003-April/028416.html)

this has already been suggested in bug no. 222346, i just want to file a proper
feature request for it ... thanks

Hi Tim, thanks for the bug report. Pretty cool that you have searched already for this (most people don't do and just file bugs), but nevertheless this particular bug has already been reported into our bug tracking system, but please feel free to report any further bugs you find. :-)
