Distribution: Debian testing/unstable Package: Evolution Severity: Normal Version: GNOME2.12.2 2.4.x Gnome-Distributor: Debian Synopsis: Wrong non-english characters for contact lists Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Contacts [was: Addressbook] Bugzilla-Version: 2.4.x Description: Description of Problem: If you add a contact that has some non-english characters in its name to a contact list it shows incorrectly using =?ISO-8859-1?Q? escaped sequences. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create a contact with non-english characters (á, é, í, ó, ú, ñ, or their capitals) 2. Create a contact list and add the contact (or add to an already created one) Actual Results: In the preview pane and on the list it shows with =?ISO-8859-1?Q? instead of the correct character. Expected Results: Show the correct character. How often does this happen? Always.
