Description of the crash:
After unchecking the "Show Icons in Menus" checkbox in the GNOME Menu
control panel, the panel unexpectedly shut down and then, upon
resetting, hounded me with "I've detected another panel running and will
now exit".

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. "Show icons in Menus" checkbox in menu control panel
2. 
3. 

Expected Results:
Unexpected shut down; looping error.

How often does this happen?
How long's a piece of string? Happens every time I try it.

Additional Information:
Very annoying.
