Description Anthony Lanni 2004-08-21 00:20:32 UTC
Description of Problem:

        Currently, there's no functionality to
e-mail calendar reminders - at least, it's not
enabled. There's a greyed out option in the
Reminder tab.

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. Open a calendar appointment and click on the
reminder tab.
2. click on the pull-down menu that defaults to
"Display a message".
3. Grumble at the fact that you can "Display a
message", "Play a sound", or "Run a program", but
not "Send an Email".

Actual Results:

The Email notification of calendar events
can't be used, as it is either not enabled, or not
included in Evolution - but represented by a place
holder.

Expected Results:

I expect to be able to select the "Send an
Email" option and send mail which included the
calendar event title, location, time, and notes.

How often does this happen?

Every time.

Additional Information:

This functionality is included in the vcal
software; that's where it became useful. We're
using Evolution 1.4.5-1 on RedHat WS3.
