evolutionPersonList LDAP objects don't show as contact lists in evolution
Last modified: 2013-09-10 13:49:17 UTC
Please fill in this template when reporting a bug, unless you know what you are doing. Description of Problem: When an LDAP object is setup as a evolutionPersonList, it does not show up as an equivalent contact list in evolution. The expectation is that the evolutionPersonList would be recognized by evolution as a contact list equivalent and be able to show the properties as a list. Right now, it thinks it is the same as an evolutionPerson or just a contact that has address, phone, etc.... Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. Create LDAP entry for a evolutionPersonList with listName=mylist 2. Add email address to list with the mail attribute of evolutionPersonList 3. You may need to provide a cn=mylist attribute for evolution to display list correctly. (for some reason, it does not use the listName as the title) 4. Configure/use evolution to query LDAP directory. 5. Lookup mylist to quering all Actual Results: The mylist shows as a contact (w/ address, phone, etc..) Expected Results: mylist should show as a contact list, if clicked on, brings up the contact list dialog showing the list of emails in the contact list. How often does this happen? All the time. Additional Information: Using evolution 1.4.5 and OpenLDAP 2.0
