Keyboard Shortcuts missing for viewing mail
Last modified: 2005-12-31 20:49:52 UTC
Package: Evolution Priority: Normal Version: GNOME2.2.2 1.4 os_details: Ximian, Inc. Synopsis: Keyboard Shortcuts missing for viewing mail Bugzilla-Product: Evolution Bugzilla-Component: Mailer Description: Description of Problem: There should be keyboard shortcuts for going to next and previous message (not just unread message). In general, the keyboard shortcuts should be configurable. In Window$, shift-tab goes backwards through the inner windowpanes - it would be nice if there was a keyboard shortcut which moves through panes in in reverse order from the tab key, so you can go back and forth between different panes without using the mouse. Steps to reproduce the problem: 1. 2. 3. Actual Results: Expected Results: How often does this happen? Additional Information: Unknown reporter: ximian@oddiofile.com, changed to bugbuddy-import@ximian.com. Setting qa contact to the default for this product. This bug either had no qa contact or an invalid one.
Shift-TAB has been implemented in 1.5. There are still no single shortcut key for Next/Previous actions. Alt+Left and Alt+Right is a good candidate, Mozilla uses the same keybinding for it's toolbar Back/Forward icons.
key navigation shortcut to next message still missing in evolution-2.0.2.0.200411260600-0.snap.ximian.10.1.
