Last modified: 2012-02-19 16:55:46 UTC

Because of the decision to remap 1.1->1.2 and 1.2->1.4, I'm going to be moving a large number of bugs around in the bugzilla. You can just search on 'body contains' 'Because of the decision to remap' and mark all as read. Please direct all questions about this change to evolution@ximian.com, not the bug. Luis

If the email contains anything other than plain text, we'll need to convert it, as we only support plain text in the task description. The alternative is to add it to the task as an attachment, but we don't have any support for attachments at present and that is even more work.

Yes we should do this to instantly creating New Tasks and New Appointments - the D&D should open New Task or New Appointment in Edit mode but too late for 1.2 Changed milestone to Future

Hello My name is Jeff Prickett and I will be working on this bug. I hope to have a patch soon Thanks all Jeff Prickett
Jeff any updates?
we have a mail-to-task plugin nowadays, and drag and drop won't be easy since the 2.0 redesign. this looks like a potential wontfix to me. jeff, if you're still working on this, please tell us.
