Description Richard Zach 2001-02-25 01:05:18 UTC
It would be really neat if you could do something with message/rfc822
attachments (e.g., forwarded emails, messages in a multipart/digest, etc.).
Right now you can't even save the attachment separately.

I suggest a context menu with entries:

- Open (opens separate mail window with just that message)
- Save to disk
- Reply to
- Forward

Especially the Reply To would be nice so that one could reply to individual
messages in the Evolution list digest without having to edit the subject line.
(Ideally, the Reply-To and References headers would be set correctly as well.)

We now have the coolio menu for message attachments working correctly,
but we can't reply to them. I believe this would be hard to do, and
it's feature, so milestone = future.
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-04-11 23:16:58 UTC
this is doable in development cvs
Comment 4 Richard Zach 2002-07-16 15:20:19 UTC
Jeff, how do you reply to an attached message? There's no context
menu in the preview pane in 1.0.8; will it be there in 1.1?
Comment 5 Jeffrey Stedfast 2002-07-16 18:24:22 UTC
it's there now.

you have to click a "View aMessages" thingy and then you get a
message-list view of the forwarded message(s) and then you can
reply/forward/etc

Using Evo 1.2.1 but I can't figure out how to do this? Was this
removed from the 1.2 release?
Comment 9 Richard Zach 2003-01-12 21:26:07 UTC
Yes, it was removed.
