Description Gabriel de Perthuis 2005-03-02 14:33:17 UTC
gnome-keybinding-properties sets global shortcuts for multimedia keyboards.
These always affect the master volume, while I prefer to use the PCM channel on
the alsa mixer.
There should be a "default mixer channel" preference somewhere.
It could be used as the prefered mixer for a new volume applet, and audio apps
that use a global mixer.
So I think it should go in
/desktop/gnome/peripherials/mixer/default-{element,track} (named after the
applet settings).
