Description Vincent PENNEC 2005-01-19 21:29:20 UTC
Please describe the problem:
One (I) can't select file(s) using list view because everywhere you click in the
right panel you activate a file

Steps to reproduce:
try to select a file by clicking "outside" the file

Actual results:
you activate a file (target or above file or behind file)

Expected results:
ther should be a "virtual" column at the very left of the file name so that you
can select the file AND/OR only the first column should "activate" the file; the
right columns (filetime, fileperms...) could be used to select the file

Does this happen every time?
yes

Thanks for your bug. Are you speaking about the list mode, or from the side pane?

hmmmm. I'm thinking adding a "checkbox" column might be an interesting solution (not to be confused with bug #138931); should I recycle this bug report or open a new one?
