Description:
Starting with v0.29 sawfish (the WM) set the "never focus"
property to all windows that have the SKIP_FOCUS hint set.
Now interactive utilities that are swallowed in a panel are

input (mouse input works). The sawfish ppl say that this
have to be fixed in the panel. So do, please! Thx.

Adding relevant keywords. You can filter on the phrase 'luis doing GNOME2 work'
to catch all instances of this so that you can ignore them.
Comment 5 Kjartan Maraas 2002-03-15 14:23:06 UTC
I think change of behavior is out of the question for 1.4.x. Move to
gnome-panel? Is it still relevant at all?
Comment 6 Christian Marillat 2002-03-15 14:31:04 UTC
This bug is a sawfish bug.

Dup, then.

The discussion over at http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=62652
(of which http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=72594 is marked as
a duplicate of) seems to be suggesting that this is not a sawfish bug.
(I've personally seen the problem in enlightenment as well)
