Description James Henstridge 2004-12-03 08:01:44 UTC
It would be nice if it was possible to hide some icon themes in the theme selector.

The main cases for this are:

1. the "hicolor" theme is intended to be the root theme, but users probably
shouldn't select it as their theme.

2. there are a number of obsolete accessibility themes installed that exist just
for compatibility reasons. For example, the HighContrast, HighContrastInverse
and LowContrast themes simply inherit from the LargePrint versions and provide
no additional icons.
The HighContrast and HighContrastInverse meta-themes both reference the
LargePrint icon themes, so the two icon themes are only there for old user
configurations.

In both of these cases, it would be nice to have some marker in the theme saying
not to display it in the preferences dialog.

There is a fix for it.
