GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 159573
Gnome-print changes characters when using Luxi fonts
Last modified: 2009-08-11 20:20:30 UTC
Type some text in an application using gnome-print such as gnumeric, set the font to Luxi Serif and print preview.
Created attachment 34161 [details] a gnumeric file showing the problem
Created attachment 34162 [details] The output of hello.gnumeric
I'm guessing that this is related to 158424
Attached a file, which contains the Luxi Serif/BitStream-VeraSans-Roman fonts and created by gedit. This one covers all the 310 glyps there in the Luxi Serif font (though the input text file is badly formatted), displays everything without any issue. So I assume the issue is in not the plain text display, will look into more, but basic apps can display text OK with this font.
Created attachment 34410 [details] PS file file showing all Luxi Serif Regular glyphs.

Is this bug present in the gtk+ printing too?
No things work fine with GtkPrint.
Closing as per last comment.
