Distribution: Fedora Core release 2 (Tettnang) Package: nautilus Severity: normal Version: GNOME2.6. unspecified Gnome-Distributor: Red Hat, Inc Synopsis: Nautilus crash during simple directory browsing Bugzilla-Product: nautilus Bugzilla-Component: general Bugzilla-Version: unspecified BugBuddy-GnomeVersion: 2.0 (2.6.0) Description: Description of the crash: Had 4 or 5 file browser windows open, on 3 different machines (mounted via samba). First time Red Hat Fedora user (main system is a non-gui Debian webserver via telnet) so was just trying out the new toys on the desktop. When it crashed, Nautilus offered the "Bug Buddy" option - how cute... Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Have not tried to reproduce, happened first time I used a GUI file browser. 2. 3. Expected Results: Code stable enough to not crash. How often does this happen? (Once in 5 minutes; but I've only used Nautilus for about 5 minutes too). Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/nautilus' (no debugging symbols found)...Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/libthread_db.so.1".
