Description daniel.serpell 2003-08-14 21:03:36 UTC
Package: gnome-applets
Severity: normal
Version: 2.2.2
Synopsis: Battery Status applet uses too much cpu.
Bugzilla-Product: gnome-applets
Bugzilla-Component: battery

Description:

The battery status applet updates too often, causing 6% of CPU time
used in this laptop (Compaq presario 720, 1.1GHz Duron CPU).
The update should be once in 10 seconds, there is no need to update
each second, or at least it should be configurable.

Additional Information:
Using Debian/GNU Linux unstable, kernel 2.4.22-rc2-ac1 (need the new
ACPI stuff).
