Nothing is printed (from LPD) when selecting print while viewing a PDF. 
Using the menu or the toolbar is inconsequential.  The same document will
print if it is converted to Post Script using pdf2ps.

what version exactly are you using? this should work in 1.99.96.

this is fixed in 1.99.96.
