Description Dave Bordoley [Not Reading Bug Mail] 2002-11-20 23:30:56 UTC
For all per directory preferences it would be really nice if subfolders
inherited their parent folders metadata, unless the user has chosen a
specific value for the subfolder.

Example.

'/home/dave/ ' is being viewed as a list with a 120 % zoom size and
arranged by type.
/home/dave/evolution should also have these view settings as should every
other folder in /home/dave. However if I switch /home/dave/evolution to an
icon view with an 80% zoom level than all subfolders of it should have
these view properties defaulting to those of /home/dave that have not been
explicitly set. etc.
