GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 98805
aisleriot help display problem
Last modified: 2004-12-22 21:47:04 UTC
We're having difficulty displaying aisleriot help docs, which as near as I can tell seems to be a problem in Yelp. The table of contents displays correctly, but when you click on one of the entries it only displays the words "Table of Contents". When I try to manually use yelp-customization.xsl, feeding in the gdb_rootid as a parameter to xsltproc, it works correctly, outputing the desired page: xsltproc --stringparam gdb_rootid agnes /home/jfleck/jhstuff/head/yelp/stylesheets/yelp-customization.xsl aisleriot.xml Note that the GNOME Users Guide, which seems to have an identical structure, displays correctly, so obviously I'm missing something here that's needed to get aisleriot docs to work.
The thing present in the users guide that is missing in the aisleriot docs is <sect1> structures in the <chapters>. These are not required for the docs to be valid docbook. In the near term, the solution ought to be to modify the aisleriot docs to include sect1 tags in the chapters (a massive job given the number of chapters Zana has produced). In the long term, we should understand why this valid DocBook isn't displaying properly.
This is fixed by the patch on #114117.
The patch for #114117 has been applied to HEAD in CVS.
